What does a cabin crew do?
Usually, a cabin crew does the following:
- Welcoming passengers on board and assisting them with finding their seats
- Providing safety demonstrations and instructions to passengers
- Serving food, drinks, and snacks to passengers during the flight
- Responding to passenger requests and addressing any concerns or emergencies
- Performing pre-flight and post-flight duties such as cleaning the aircraft and restocking supplies
What does the day-to-day life of a cabin crew look like?
A cabin crew usually works in shifts that can vary in duration depending on the length of the flight. They may work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
On a typical day, a cabin crew member may:
- Check the flight schedule and prepare for the upcoming flight
- Attend pre-flight briefings with the captain and other crew members
- Greet passengers, help them with their luggage, and ensure their comfort during the flight
- Serve meals and beverages, and assist passengers with special needs
- Handle any emergencies or medical situations that may arise during the flight
- Complete post-flight duties such as cleaning the cabin and preparing for the next flight
Where does a cabin crew work?
Cabin crew members primarily work for airlines. They are based at airports and may have assignments for domestic or international flights.
Some cabin crew members may be based at specific airports and work on regular routes, while others may be part of a crew that travels to different destinations.
What tools/software/hardware does a cabin crew use?
A cabin crew uses a variety of tools including:

What do I need to become a cabin crew?
There are a few common requirements to become a cabin crew:
